To see how effective this stakeholder management methodology is; you can download a free version of the Stakeholder Circle™ software. The tool is pre-loaded with sample data from the ‘Paradise Utility Corporation’ (download the PDF case study). After exploring the tool, the sample data can be deleted and replaced with your own project data.

To assist in developing an effective stakeholder mapping and management system for your project, a context sensitive ‘help’ system is built into the database and linked back to more extensive information in our on-line help pages (view on-line Help system). The help pages are cross-referenced to the Methodology section of this web site, and there are a number of papers discussing stakeholder management available for free download in our Published papers section.

At the end of the 21 day free trial period, your project data is saved in an export file for import to a full commercial version of the tool to allow you to continue pro-actively managing your project’s stakeholders without any loss of productivity.

The Stakeholder Circle™ is designed to track the progress of your project stakeholder community for the life of the project (and preserve the data for archiving and lessons learned). Consequently, each data file is designed to hold the current information and history of a single project. We recommend using the free ‘sample’ version of the tool routinely to map the stakeholder community on every project (or potential project) your organisation is involved with and use the full commercial version of the tool on those projects where maintaining the stakeholder mapping process through the life of the project is seen to add significant benefit.
