However, the whole purpose of the Stakeholder Circle has been to move beyond the simplistic 2x2 matrices such as ‘power & interest’ to a more rigorous and supportable analysis of the multiple facets involved in any relationship with a stakeholder. Some of the other key factors needed to understand stakeholders include receptiveness, supportiveness, urgency and proximity.
